1st Annual ECOCLUB.com Ecolodge Award
July 1, 2004
Ecolodge Owners (Individuals or Communities) can apply for the new ECOCLUB.com Ecolodge Award, which is aimed at implementing the best Ecolodge project proposal. In June 2004, our Supporter Members & Expert Members will select the best proposal by electronic vote. The winner will be announced on the 1st of July 2004, the 5th anniversary of the founding of ECOCLUB S.A. The prize will be accompanied by the monetary sum of Euros 500, raised by ECOCLUB.com Members, advertising revenue, and sales at the ECOCLUB.com Shop. Half of the award will be awarded immediately, and half on completion of the project. Projects must be practical, concrete and be able to be completed within 6 months. The deadline for applications is the 20th of May 2004.

Best Sustainable Tourism Think Tank IV "Sustainability and Mass Destinations: Challenges and Possibilities", DENMARK
June 30 - July 4, 2004
Business Enterprises for Sustainable Travel (BEST) is holding its fourth Think Tank on Sustainable Travel and Tourism in Denmark, 2004 in conjunction with the University of Southern Denmark, Esbjerg. As with the previous three Think Tanks, this Think Tank will focus on incorporating sustainability into tourism and hospitality education, and highlight attempts towards more sustainable tourism practices in mass tourism destinations.

Sustainable Communities Conference-USA
