directly allocated to the annual ECOCLUB.com
Ecotourism Awards, that help implement small community projects
undertaken by other Members. The three winning project proposals are chosen
by democratic Member vote in June of each year. All Members are welcome to
submit projects.
Your Membership
covers the costs associated with maintaining our various online resources and our
monthly e-magazine, an independent voice in the Ecotourism
movement.
Your
Membership enables ECOCLUB to work
for change in tourism according to our philosophy.

Important Notes |

1. Please make sure that you spell your email correctly,
so that we can communicate with you.
2. Your Membership will be
activated when your payment has cleared. 3.
When your Membership is activated, you will receive a welcome email from us with your
access details. This email will be sent to the email from which
payment was made, unless you instruct us otherwise. (Please also
check in your Spam folder.)
4. Our normal business hours are 6:30 am to 4:30 pm GMT, Monday to
Friday.

Our Listing Policy |
|
In our Member Directory, we list products and services that meet at least one of
our five Ecotourism criteria,
and which are compatible with the
ECOCLUB Philosophy. We do not wish to advertise the following services / items: political, religious, weapons, hunting, adult,
illegal substances, illegal services and websites that violate
copyright laws, or engage in defamation and libel. The listing
is written by ourselves, based on information provided in your
blog/website and aims to be objective and factual rather than
an advertisement. ECOCLUB
reserves the right to amend / edit all listing elements at any
time. In certain
instances, ECOCLUB S.A. may decide not to advertise
competitive products and services. If we refuse or terminate a
listing for any reason, a full refund will be made through PayPal. |

Individual Membership Terms & Agreement:
(1) "Individual Membership"
(hereafter Membership) is a subscription service
offered by our company ECOCLUB S.A. to individuals (hereafter Members) who
have a bona fide interest in Ecotourism, agree with the
ECOCLUB
Philosophy and make efforts to implement it. (2).
Membership Costs and Benefits are as stated on
http://www.ecoclub.com/join5.html (3). Members should always act in a way that enhances the
unity and strength of ECOCLUB and be ready to assist other Members. (4).
Members agree to indemnify ECOCLUB S.A. against any consequence
resulting directly or indirectly from your being a Member. (5). We make
no guarantees as to the quality, non-interruption, availability,
performance or benefits of this service. All our services are subject to
availability. (6). Members should not compete with ECOCLUB in offering
services to other Members and in particular to our Ecolodge partners, or
in any other way, or offer services incompatible with the philosophy of
ECOCLUB. (7). We do not guarantee any potential or speculated business
profits or benefits attached to you being a Member. (8). Membership is
granted to you as an individual and is not transferable. You should not
share your Membership password otherwise your Membership will be
immediately terminated, you will be banned from future use and legal
action may be pursued. (9). Information that appears on the ECOCLUB.com
website and email communications and in any Member sections such as the
Projects, Jobs and Real Estate Databases is provided bona-fide, for your
own personal and direct use only and it should not be resold in any way,
re-transmitted, reproduced, broadcast or copied in any form, without
written permission. Violators will be instantly and permanently banned
from Membership, while legal action may also be pursued. (10). By
becoming a Member you agree to receive email communications from
ECOCLUB. (11). You agree not to hold us responsible in relation to any
damages caused by failure of participating providers to honour a
"Membership Benefit" commitment, as stated at
http://www.ecoclub.com/supporterben.html (12). You are free to
resign from your Membership at any time by sending an email notice to
ECOCLUB S.A. No refund will be made. (13). The provision of fraudulent
information by you in your application form will lead to immediate
termination of your Membership, with no refund. (14). Failure to meet
any of these terms and conditions may lead to the immediate termination
of your Membership, with no refund. (15). We may terminate your
Membership for any reason and at any time. In this case we will refund
1/12th of your Membership Fee for every unused month of your Membership.
Refund can only be made by PayPal (16) Upon expiry or termination of
your Membership, you will immediately remove and destroy all information
and promotional material that identifies you as a Member of ECOCLUB.
(17) You agree to indemnify ECOCLUB S.A. against all claims made in
relation to you or your Company. The payment of such indemnity shall not
prevent us from seeking any and all damages suffered by us as a result
of your illegal behaviour or breach of contract. (18) These terms and
benefits can be updated and/or amended at any time without notification
by posting at this webpage. (19). Any dispute arising from this
Agreement will be referred to the Law Courts of Athens, Greece,
according to the Greek Laws. |
